[ Nena floated down the hallway of the women's quarters on Lagrange-3, occasionally kicking off a wall to keep momentum. She could hang on to the motorized handles, but she'd spent most of her life in reduced gravity and was used to maneuvering by now. Besides, it was more fun this way.

She had her Haro under her arm; he was facing backwards and jeering at the yellow Haro flapping down the hallway behind them. When she got to Feldt's room she slid open the door without knocking, and stuck her head in, saying: ]

Tieria's definitely being a massive dick here but give me five minutes and I'll tell you what he's trying to say except he can't because like I said, massive dick!

Okay so I thought he was just tripping balls or something, but something's seriously way wrong with Tieria! I've been all over the base and no one's seen him today, so I tried pinging him and he's got circuits in his head or something, it's like he's turned robot! I've uplinked with him before and that's definitely new. And he gave me a headache with some feedback crap, he can't do that normally!

Mikaela, he was talking about Autobots and crap, spill! Would they have like, kidnapped him or something?

[ She's not allowed to tell anyone but she needs to get it out somehow, so Haro's recording her rushing around her room tossing clothes into a duffel bag and half-singing cheerfully ]

No more school, no more school ever! No more stupid trees out the window, no stupid little kids I'm not allowed to run down on my bike! --Wait, ew, space food, I should-- [ runs out of the room for a moment and returns with a package of Oreos and a jar of Nutella, dumps them in the bag, and continues ] No more sitting around watching TV 'cause there's nothing else to do! No more target practice in the yard, I'll have real targets! No more having to get a job, 'cause I'm not...

[ Pauses for a moment, because she would have finished that 'living with Cross' and there are real things she'll miss about that-- shopping, being spoiled, getting to go anywhere she wants without worrying about secrecy-- and people, too. It's not enough for her to choose not to go, but it's enough to make her rummage in her nightstand for paper for a note to Cross, and order ] Haro, change the filter--

[ Apparently that's close enough, because his arm snakes out at the edge of the video and throws something up; Nena goes down into a crouch and fires, seven or eight times. (The shards that rain down look oddly familiar to the plates that went missing from Cross's kitchen this morning.) One or two break as they crash into the ground, though, rather than being shattered in the air, and she grumbles as she stands up and wipes her forehead ] Geez, I'm so out of practice! This sucks!

[ A bright flash of light; it's bright enough to blind, the screen entirely white. It fades slowly to show a slightly older Nena at the helm of an unfamiliar ship, a bruise on her cheek, looking bitter and slightly savage ]

This is the way they do things, hm?

[ --but the screen's fading in and out, and when the picture is next clear she's by the window of a different ship, clutching her head; when she straightens up she shakes herself and presses her face to the glass-- ]

What the hell?

[ --back to the first scene, but the audio's cut out, and she mouths 'excellent'-- or she's sitting on the arm of a chair, grinning and swinging her legs, the background fuzzy and indistinct; the other figures look serious, but she giggles and says ]

What's the problem? Let's take them out!

[ --before the video cuts out entirely. ]

For personal reference, a bunch of notes/headcanon/etc. on just what the hell the Trinitys are, because it's all scattered in bits and pieces and I forget half of it sometimes. And a bit on Nena's S2 development as well, because I got distracted. And some Haro stuff. DOES NOT ACTUALLY MAKE SENSE SOMETIMES just getting this down before I have to leave for work.
